Elon Musk Responds to Assassination Attempts on Trump, Points Out Lack of Threats to Biden and Harris
Tech billionaire Elon Musk has weighed in on the recent alleged assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump, remarking on the absence of similar threats against current President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Musk wrote, “And no one is even trying to assassinate Biden/Kamala,” drawing attention to the disparity in perceived risks facing political figures.
The latest incident involving Trump occurred in Florida on Sunday, outside one of his golf courses. Gunshots were reportedly fired in the area, marking the second such incident in two months, following a previous assassination attempt at a rally in Boulder, Pennsylvania. Authorities arrested a 58-year-old suspect in connection with the Florida shooting.
Trump quickly reassured his supporters following the incident, stating that he was unharmed. In a message posted on his website, the former president said, "Fear not! I am safe and well, and no one was hurt. Thank God!" He further clarified, “There were gunshots in my vicinity, but as rumors begin to spiral, I wanted you to hear it from me first: I AM SAFE AND WELL.”
Undeterred by the event, Trump declared his resolve to continue campaigning, adding, "Nothing will slow me down. I will NEVER SURRENDER. I will always love you for supporting me."
