Elon Musk is once again the wealthiest person in the world

A report from December 2022 claims that Bernard Arnault, CEO of French luxury firm Louis Vuitton, has passed the CEO of Tesla and Twitter, who had been in second place.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Elon Musk has once again become the wealthiest individual in the world.

The index compiles a daily list of the wealthiest persons in the world. Each billionaire's profile includes a net worth study that breaks down how the billions were amassed. At the end of each New York trading day, the numbers are revised.

After more than two months at number two behind Elon Musk of Tesla and Jack Dorsey of Twitter, Bernard Arnault, CEO of French luxury company Louis Vuitton, reportedly moved ahead of him in December 2022.

The recent increase in Tesla stock prices has contributed to Musk's riches. There was a 25 percent increase in only the last month. On Tuesday, Bloomberg's Billionaires Index put Musk's net worth at $187.1 billion, just slightly higher than Arnault's $185.3 billion.
