Failure To Success Stories Of Five Indians
The famous quote, “Try, try till you succeed”, is very true. Every successful person has tasted failure once in life. Saying luck favored them, is a myth. But people become successful because of their never give up attitude, and strength to stand up after failure and try again. As it is said, “Falling down is an accident but staying down is a choice”.
Here is the story of five Indians, who didn’t stay down after failure. They stood up and moved on, in order to achieve their dreams, and eventually became successful.
Dhirubhai Ambani –
The founder of Indian Conglomerate Multinational Reliance Industries, Dhirubhai Ambani was born in a middle-class family. His father was a school teacher. At the age of 16, he used to sell bhajiyas. He worked as a gas station attendant and clerk in an oil company in Yemen. But after tremendous efforts, he became a successful industrialist and first Indian entrepreneur who has listed his company under Forbes 500.
Amitabh Bachchan –
The angry young man, Amitabh Bachchan, has traveled a long way to become the biggest superstar of the country. He was born in a poetic family. After completing his education, he moved to Mumbai and tried his luck in the film industry. But his height led to many rejections. He then tried his luck as radio jockey but didn’t succeed due to his heavy voice. But Amithab did hard work and grabbed a role in Zanjeer, after giving more than 9 back-to-back flops. The movie changed everything for him and he became a superstar overnight. In the 2000s, he was bankrupt, but he didn’t give up. This break-through in Kaun Banega Crorepati changed the situation for him.
Nawazuddin Siddique –
One of the best actors of Bollywood today, Nawaz belonged to a farmer family with little scope of education, but he managed to study and started a job as a chemist in a petrochemical company. He always wanted to become an actor. He moved to Delhi to join a theatre group and took the job as watchman as he had no money. After 4-5 years, he started applying in movies but grabbed only small roles. His success came with Peepli Live, which changed everything for him.
Shahrukh Khan –
King Khan’s journey is very inspirational. He was a middle-class Delhi boy who lived in a rented apartment and had just 1500Rs in his pocket. He wasn’t liked by many because of his dark looks. But his determination, hard work and attitude of becoming something huge in this life, paid him off. Shahrukh Khan has said that he used to sleep on a bench and borrowed Rupees 20 every day from a friend to travel to film city.
Rajnikanth –
The second-highest-paid actor in Asia has a life full of struggles. He belonged to a lower-middle-class family and lived life in poverty. After completing his education, Rajinikanth started working as a carpenter, then coolie and then bus conductor. But his passion was acting took him to Madras Film Institute. After doing an acting course, he started getting noticed and then there was no looking back.
