Famous Singers Died After Concert

Singer KK died hours after a concert in Kolkata. The 53-year-old singer performed in the iconic Nazrul Mancha auditorium till 8:30 pm. He suddenly fell ill and returned to his hotel. When his condition deteriorated, he was rushed to the CMRI hospital in Kolkata and declared dead.
Krishnakumar Kunnath, who also known as KK, was famous for songs like 'Pal' and 'Yaaron,' that became big hits among teens in the late 1990s, often heard during school and college farewells and teen cultural events.
His 1999 debut album Pal received critical acclaim. During the early 2000s, he began a career as a playback singer and recorded a variety of popular songs for Bollywood films.
In addition to Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, and Bengali, KK has recorded songs in a number of other languages.
Celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Rahul Vaidya, Armaan Malik, RMunmun Dutta, Harshdeep Kaur, and Shekhar Ravjiani expressed their grief on Twitter calling it a black year in Indian music.
PM Modi also Tweeted, and his tweet read, "Saddened by the untimely demise of noted singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK. His songs reflected a wide range of emotions and struck a chord with people of all age groups. We will always remember him through his songs. Condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti,"
