Former IPS Officer JD Lakshminarayana Launches Jai Bharat National Party
Former IPS officer VV Lakshminarayana, widely recognized as JD Lakshminarayana in Telugu states, has announced the establishment of a new political entity, the Jai Bharat National Party (JBNP). Known for his high-profile investigative work during his tenure as a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) joint director, JD Lakshminarayana aims to bring transformative change to the political landscape.
At the party's launch, Lakshminarayana emphasized his commitment to reviving discussions about granting special status, an issue he believes has been sidelined by existing parties like YSRCP, TDP, and JanaSena. His reputation as a principled law enforcement officer was solidified through his involvement in significant cases, including the investigation of current Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's alleged asset misappropriation.
Born into a middle-class family in Andhra Pradesh, Lakshminarayana pursued an educational journey that eventually led him to a distinguished career. He completed his MTech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras before joining the Indian Police Service (IPS). Throughout his career, he served in various capacities, including working with the CBI on high-profile cases and earning accolades for his dedication and integrity.
Now venturing into politics, Lakshminarayana seeks to navigate the challenging terrain of Telugu politics, aiming to make a meaningful impact in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
