Former Telangana CS decides to join AP Cadre.

Former CS of Telangana, senior IAS Somesh Kumar has been relieved from the Telangana govt by the Department of Personnel and Training and has decided to report for duty in AP (Andhra Pradesh) today in line with the deadline set by the DoPT.
The sources revealed that Somesh Kumar has decided to meet AP Chief Secretary KS Jawahar Reddy and submit his joining report. The development follows the DoPT office memorandum that directed Somesh Kumar to join the Andhra Pradesh government by 12th January and asked him to send a compliance report.

Somesh Kumar decided to follow the orders of DoPT and join the AP cadre. He reached Vijayawada from Hyderabad. From there, Somesh will go directly to the secretariat. He will meet CM of AP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and CS Jahawar Reddy.
Somesh Kumar said that he has to report in AP as per the orders of DoPT. He added, “As an officer, I am following the orders of DoPT. After meeting the CM, I will decide on what to do.”
