From Rajasthan Fields to Miss World Stage: Nandini Gupta Represents India

Nandini Gupta, a 21-year-old from Kota, Rajasthan, is representing India at the Miss World 2025 pageant. The daughter of a farmer and a homemaker, Nandini has already secured a place in the Top 40 among 108 contestants.
Born in a small village, she grew up playing in fields of mustard and millets, dreaming of the Miss India crown since she was 10. She studied at Saint Paul’s Senior Secondary School and earned a degree in Business Management from Lala Lajpat Rai College in Mumbai.
Nandini won the Femina Miss India World 2023 title and is now aiming to bring the Miss World crown back to India, last won by Manushi Chhillar. “As I grew older, I realized the crown is more than just beauty. It’s a platform that empowers and uplifts,” she said.
She also launched Project Ekta, an initiative under the ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ motto, focused on promoting dignity and inclusivity for people with special abilities.
Influenced by Ratan Tata and Priyanka Chopra, Nandini made her acting debut with a cameo in The Heist (2024), starring Suman Rao. The Miss World 2025 Grand Finale will be held in Hyderabad at HITEX Exhibition Centre on May 31, streamed globally via watchmissworld.com.
