Gangubai Kathiawadi Release Date Officially Announced

Yesterday, the makers of upcoming movie Gangubai Kathiawadi made official statement regarding the new release date. The makers of the film Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt have officially announced that the upcoming movie is going to hit the screens on 25th February, 2022.

While making the announcement the makers posted as, “Witness her reign in cinemas near you on 25th Feb 2022#GangubaiKathiawadi.”

The women centric movie Gangubai Kathiawadi was earlier scheduled to hit the screens in the month of July last year but it was delayed due to the pandemic. In this movie, Alia Bhatt is essaying the role of Gangubai, one of the most powerful and respected madams from Kamathipura, Mumbai’ red light area, during the 1960s.

Gangubai Kathiawadi will mark Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 10th movie.

Alia Bhatt starrer, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is all set to have its much-awaited world premiere at the prestigious 72nd Berlin International movie Festival. The upcoming movie also features Ajay Devgn as the mobster.

Gangubai Kathiawadi is one of the most awaited movies in the Bollywood movie industry. Apart from Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia will be seen essaying the female lead role in SS Rajamouli’ RRR which also features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles.
