Garjana Teaser – Low Standards!

Actor Srikanth who is well-known as Sriram in Tollywood is going to appear in a Telugu dubbed Tamil film ‘Garjana’. Srikanth was seen long back in Telugu in a supporting role in Ravi Teja’s movie ‘Nippu’. If we have to speak about his last Telugu straight film as a hero, it is his super hit film ‘Okariki Okaru’ in 2003. Later, he wasn’t seen in any Telugu movie as a hero but appeared in supporting roles in Venkatesh’s Adavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule, Nippu, and Police Police.

Now, his upcoming Tamil film Mirugaa is dubbed and getting released in Telugu with the title ‘Garjana’. Today, the official teaser of the film has been released and unfortunately, it got a negative response. The graphics looked cheap and the performances of the actors are artificial. The BGM of the film is copied from a popular Malayalam film ‘Pulimurugan’ and the viewers also commented that the film is a ‘freemake’ of a Hollywood movie Brightburn.

Directed by J. Parthiban, Garjana has Raai Laxmi as the leading lady while Dev Ghill, Naira, Vashanvi, Arohi and Black Pandi are playing supporting roles. M.V. Panneerselvam who penned the story himself has handled screenplay and cinematography. Aruldev has composed the music while R. Sudharshan did the editing. Milan and S. Raja Mohan are art directors. B. Vinod Jain has produced the movie under Jaguar studios.

Apart from this film, Srikanth is also working on 4 Tamil films - Un Kadhal Irundhal, Maha, Khaki and Sambavam. Un Kadhal Irundhal is a psychological thriller film written and directed by Hashim Marikar who is making his Kollywood debut with this film. Maha is a thriller film written and directed by U.R.Jameel and the film stars Hansika as the leading lady.
