Grand Scale Republic Day Celebrations Held at Vijayawada

The 70th Republic day was celebrated in Vijayawada. AP Governor ESL Narasimhan hoisted the national flag at IGMC (Indira Gandhi Municipal Ground) stadium also received the honorary guard of police.

As the part of the celebrations, Different departments came forward to showcase Tableau’s and a march of various armed forces was the main attraction to the visitors at the parade.

The Tableau of Information department stood at the first place, Forest and Tourism departments Tableaus in second and third place respectively at the parade.

First Place for Republic Day Best parade stood by both Indian Army and NCC Boys followed by NCC Girls and AP Special Police as runners-up.

The Governor congratulated to the people and said in the four years there has been a significant improvement in Andhra Pradesh. The government is working in harmony with the wishes of the people. Technology has been increasing productivity by promoting the difficulties of dividing the government.

The pensions of NTR Bhasora Pension has also increased to Rs 2000 from January. Under the Reception Scheme, Rs .94 crores have been reached to over 4 lakh people.

The event witnessed Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, DGP RP Thakur, several ministers, officials and a large number of people. Several departments including AP special police were marching on this occasion. Various departments of welfare and development have organized a demonstration.
