He Is The First Choice For Virataparvam!

Upcoming film ‘Virataparvam’ has created a lot of buzz already. The film stars Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi in lead roles. The duo is pairing up for the first time for this movie. Venu Udugula is directing the film while Suresh Babu is bankrolling it under Suresh Productions. Priyamani, Nandita Das, Zareena Wahib and Eashwari Rao will be seen in key roles.

Now, an interesting news has been revealed by Venu Udugula. He said that his first choice for the film is not Rana but Gopichand! The director initially narrated the script to Gopichand and he was impressed. But, he was busy with his signed projects and so rejected the film. And then Venu approached Rana and he signed the film.

Recently, the first look of Sai Pallavi and Priyamani from the film were released and got a positive response. Both will be seen as Naxals in the film while Rana will be seen as a cop. Speaking about Rana, he is also working for the film ‘Aranya’ and is also going to get married soon.

On the other side, Gopichand who rejected Virataparvam is currently busy with his upcoming sports drama ‘Seetimaarr’. Tamannaah is playing the leading lady in the film. This film is being directed by Sampath Nandi and produced by Srinivas Chitturi. Mani Sharma is composing music.
