Education is one among the seven topics that Nirmala Sitharaman claimed she is prioritising in her budget, according to Sitharaman. He stated that 38,800 instructors would be hired for the Ekalavya Model Residential Schools on this particular occasion.
For each school, teachers and support staff will be hired. 38,800 teachers and other support personnel will be hired for these schools during the next three years, the finance minister stated in his budget address. The minister also said that 740 residential schools under the Eklavya model are home to almost 3.5 lakh tribal kids.
The centre will develop 157 new nursing colleges in addition to the 157 medical colleges that have been established since 2014. Additionally, it was made known in the Lok Sabha that a tribal PVTG mission will be established. The objective of PMP BTG, according to her, is to better the socioeconomic standing of tribal people.
