Hyderabad Gang Rape: Chief Minister Rao Gave This Controversial Statement Regarding The Safety Of Women

Reacting to the gang-rape and murder of a 26-year-old Veterinary Doctor in Cyberabad, CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has given a contentious statement. In which he said that women should not work in night shifts in the state transport body for safety. Reacting to the Hyderabad rape case, CM Rao called the incident inhuman.
Just talking to the employees of State Transport said this
He said that in the past, there were animals, not humans, to kill the female doctor. He said, “That's why, I am saying that not be kept women on night duty”. The State Transport Corporation employees join their work after a 52-day long strike. CM said this while addressing them.
Fast track court will hear the case
In many sectors such as IT and other sectors, women employees have often said that it is risky for women to work in night shifts. Arguing that such steps would reduce space for women at workplaces. CM Rao also said that the hearing of the case with the vet will be heard in a fast-track court and justice will be done soon. Expressing deep agony at the incident, CM said that his government is ready to give all necessary help to the woman's family.
Demand to change the law from PM
The CM's response comes 3-days after the incident, amidst increasing pressure on state officials following a raid with a veterinary doctor. Since the incident of gang rape and murder, there is a sense of vex across the country. After that, a protest took place in Telangana. His son, Minister KTR, appealed to PM Narendra Modi to alter the laws to ensure the death penalty for rapists without delay.
