Hyderabad Ranks 7th In India Fit Report-2020

Hyderabad has been ranked 7thin India fit report 2020 which analyzed the health-related statistics of nearly 5 million users of GOQii products over 16 Indian cities.

The report says that Hyderabad has done well when it comes to fitness, but also lacks improvement in some major areas. According to the report, the city has the least percentage of people suffering from blood pressure and heart issues, but it has a relatively higher percentage of people with aches, pains, and thyroid.

The average step count clocked by the people of Hyderabad is 7,302 steps, which are accounted as low in terms of daily fitness. It also lacks adequate amounts of sleep and water. The percentage of people consuming alcohol is also on the higher side. Although it has a lower index in terms of smoking, the report said.

The 16 cities whose data and the daily average consumption of different materials and lifestyle was recorded include Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Chennai, Surat, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Patna, Indore, Bhopal, and Bhubaneswar.

Around 42.2 percent of People in Hyderabad have normal BMI, 25.6 percent were overweight, 12 percent were obese, 4 percent were severely obese and 16.3 percent were underweight.
