Hyderabad has more GCC delivery arrangements than Bangalore

In the first half of 2023, the State capital surpassed Bengaluru in the number of Global Capability Centre (GCC) establishments, reaffirming its status as the preferred location for companies to establish new operations or expand existing ones.
According to Dallas-based research and analysis firm Everest Group, more than forty global companies established or expanded their Acceleration Centres, Centres of Excellence (CoEs), Centres of Innovation, and R&D Centres in Hyderabad during this time period.
This trend is also reflected in the city's increasing number of technology positions. In 2021-22, Hyderabad's share of technology jobs as a proportion of all technology jobs in India increased from 33% to 44%. In addition, the demand for non-tech services continues to rise, reflecting the optimism of investors, according to a blog post by Everest Group.
During the past two years, the city has displayed remarkable growth and resilience, recording one of the country's highest growth rates for global service delivery, according to the report, which added that the city's commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment was evidenced by the frequent meetings between IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao and top corporate executives.
From Mondee Holdings, Storable, Rite Software, Tekgence, Zapcom, and Charles Schwab Corporation, several announcements of new centre installations and expansions resulted from the Minister's May voyage to the United States.
