Hyderabad to be redesigned, says KTR

IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao stated Tuesday that a new, planned version of Hyderabad would be created between the proposed 330-km Regional Ring Road (RRR) and the Outer Ring Road, saying that people had only seen a trailer of growth under the BRS government.
This region includes over 50% of Telangana's population. Given future expansion and population growth, additional ring road up to Suryapet was needed. He cited Beijing's five ring roads to explain how this would reduce traffic between Hyderabad and other State cities.
He told a Telangana Builders Federation event that Hyderabad has exceeded Bengaluru twice in IT job creation in two years. We needed greater social infrastructure. The fight for Chief Minister is heating up in Karnataka, and Telangana Congress has a dozen candidates. Forget the six Congress guaranteesa new Chief Minister every six months is guaranteed if they win, Rama Rao asserted.
The BRS working president said land prices in Telangana had risen significantly in the recent 9.5 years, giving farmers confidence. Telugu Desam Party chairman N Chandrababu Naidu and others agreed that money was being created in Telangana and land values had skyrocketed.
