"I Didn't Sleep At All That Night": PM Modi!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has returned to India from a week-long trip to the United States to attend the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Many people have gathered at the airport and welcomed Modi. On arrival, Modi has given a speech on the occasion of the third anniversary of the surgical strikes conducted by the army in 2016 on terrorist camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Modi has praised soldiers for their service to the country.

After winning the 2014 elections, I went to the United Nations. But this time, I observed huge change in their attitude towards India. The credit for their respect for India goes to 130 crore Indians," Modi said. Recalling the surgical strikes, PM Modi said, "Three years ago, on September 28^th, I didn't sleep at all, all the night. Every moment, I was waiting for the telephone to ring. On that day, the brave soldiers of my country increased India's pride by conducting the surgical strike. Remembering that night, I salute the courage of our brave soldiers today," Modi added.

The "Howdy Modi" event which was happened in Houston on Sunday is the main highlight of Modi’s trip. Modi and US President Donald Trump decided to work together on matters related to trade, development and anti-terrorism activities. Multi-layer security arrangements were arranged at Palam airport for the Prime Minister's arrival and many CCTV cameras were also installed.
