Immigrant Investor Program Forms Released By USCIS

Through investments, USCIS (US Citizenship and Immigration Services) has released new forms for the EB5 investor visa program.
Form I-526, Immigrant Petition by Alien Entrepreneur, has been revised by the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022.
The form will be split into 2 versions: Form I-526, Immigrant Petition by Standalone Investor, and Form I-526E, Immigrant Petition by Regional Center Investor.
Effective July 12, 2022, Forms I-526 and I-526E must be submitted in compliance with new program requirements.
The filing fee is $3,675 for each form. Visit the form's pages for additional information about filing and biometric fees, USCIS said.
Form I-526 will be used by standalone immigrant investors who are not seeking to pool their investment with additional investors seeking EB-5 classification and will closely resemble the prior edition of Form I-526, the immigration agency said.
Under the new regional center program, immigrant investors can pool their investment with one or more additional investors seeking EB-5 classification.
USCIS said Form I-526E reflects elements of the new regional center program, including the ability to incorporate evidence from a regional center's Form I-956F.
A prospective immigrant investor cannot file form I-526E until the regional center files Form I-956F for the particular investment offering through an associated commercial enterprise.
Investors may file their associated Form I-526E once the regional center receives a receipt notice for Form I-956F, USCIS.
Indian EB-5 program applications have increased dramatically in recent years, with students and business owners gaining quick access to green cards after decades of waiting.
It is especially beneficial for those who hope to relocate to America permanently in order to find work or start a business.
