Imran All Set For Talks If BJP Wins
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, in an interview with a group of foreign journalists, said that he believes there may be a better chance of peace talks with India and settle the Kashmir issue if Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) wins the general elections. Perhaps if the BJP wins, some kind of settlement in Kashmir could be reached, Khan to the group of journalists.
Naming Kashmir as the central issue between both countries, Khan said other parties would be afraid of the right-wing backlash in case of settlement on the Kashmir issue. India will go to elections in seven phases beginning Thursday, 11 April.
