India briefs 25 envoys, plans to isolate Pakistan
India had held on Friday a briefing for envoys of 25 countries, including the US, China, Russia, the UK and France. The reason was to highlight Pakistan's role in using terrorism as an instrument of state policy.
JeM had claimed the responsibility for the terror attack and foreign secretary Gokhale while addressing the envoys in response to it said, Pakistan must take "immediate and verifiable action" against the JeM and that it must immediately stop any groups or individuals associated with terrorism operating from its territories.
While all the countries agreed on Pakistan's role in terrorism, they all have condemned this act and urges Pakistan to stop supporting and financing to terror groups operating from areas under their control. India has also withdrawn the 'most-favoured nation' status to Pakistan.
