Indian 2: Is Senapathi's Age a Plot Challenge?

Kamal Haasan's much-anticipated film, "Bharateeyadudu 2/Indian 2," has ignited conversations among fans and music enthusiasts. Director Shankar is poised for a comeback with this project, and while the visuals have earned accolades, there are mixed opinions about Anirudh Ravichander's music, with some craving more innovation. However, the primary point of contention centers around Kamal Haasan's character's age in the film.
In the first installment of "Bharateeyudu," Kamal Haasan's character, Senapathi, was portrayed as a 70-year-old. Considering that the first part was released in 1996, by 2023, Senapathi would be well over a century old. This raises legitimate questions about the plausibility of his return to India at such an advanced age, engaging in anti-corruption endeavors, and evading law enforcement. Many viewers find this scenario to be lacking in logical coherence.
Shifting the storyline of "Bharatiyadudu 2" to the year 2000 might have provided a more reasonable backdrop. Addressing this age inconsistency is pivotal for maintaining the story's credibility, particularly among the tech-savvy current generation. "Bharatiyadudu 2" is scheduled for release next summer, and it remains to be seen how the film's makers will tackle this intriguing plot challenge.
