IT and MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao said on Saturday that the Telangana government had increased its fixed capital base for food processing capacities by Rs 7,000 crore over the past five years.
He said that major corporations in the business have established operations in the state, including Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, ITC, and others. He said the agricultural, dairy, meat, and fisheries industries were all undergoing simultaneous revolutions in Telangana. He officially kicked off the city's first Food Conclave 2023.
KTR elaborated on the event's purpose, saying it was not merely to find new business partnerships but to make India a one-stop shop for the world's food processing and production needs.
Every major player in the food sector would flock to Food Conclave. Companies have projected that this will result in the creation of 50,000 new jobs. KTR promised that more information would be released later in the day.
