Is Advani given political retirement?

The saffron party announced on Thursday the candidates contesting in the general election. The first list of 184 people from 23 states/union territories has been released. Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again announced that his sitting seat will come from Varanasi.

Political entrepreneur LK Advani was given political rest. Amit Shah will be replaced by LK Advani at Gandhinagar. All the 23 Union Ministers are been in the first list release, except one.

Union ministers Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, and Smriti Irani are ready to contest from the oldest Lucknow, Nagpur, and Amethi. Out of the 22 sitting MPs which were not given chance, the top brass included former Uttar Pradesh Chief Ministers BC Khanduri, Bhagat Singh Kosari and former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya are included. It seems to have been given a vacation for them.

The ticket for Arun Sagar, who came from the BSP to the BJP party, replaced the Union Agriculture Minister Krishnaraj in the seat. The sitting MP from Vishakapatnam Kambhampatti Haribhabu refused to compete again in the upcoming elections, hence the former Union Minister Purandeshwari gets the offer.
