Is Kalyan Ram’s Entha Manchivadavuraa a Copied Film?

Kalyan Ram who started his career in the year 2003 with the film ‘Tholi Choopulone’ has failed to impress the audience with his debut film. But his later films Athanokkade and Asadhyudu have become hits. After these two films, Kalyan Ram has struggled to get a hit for almost 10 years. Later, he acted in ‘Ism’ under the direction of Puri Jagannadh and bagged a super hit. His films ‘MLA’ and ‘118’ were also big hits. As he is in the success zone now, many filmmakers are showing interest to make a film with him. After listening to multiple stories, Kalyan Ram has signed for Satish Vegesna’s film.
The movie is titled ‘Entha Manchivaadavuraa’. But, now, the latest sources revealed that the story of this film is copied from Gujarati film, Oxygen. It is heard that makers have made a few changes to the story to match the taste of the Telugu audience. Though it is mentioned that the film is the official remake of Oxygen on Wikipedia official page, the sources revealed that the makers haven’t bought any rights from the original makers but just copied it and made some changes. Makers of the original film or Entha Manchivaadavuraa haven’t spoken on the issue yet.
Oxygen is directed by Chinmay Purohit and it stars Aanshul Trivedi and Vyoma Nandi in the lead roles. The movie is a hit in Gujarat. In Entha Manchivaadavuraa, Mehreen Pirzada is playing the lead while Gopi Sundar is composing tunes. Subhash Gupta, Umesh Gupta and Sivalenka Krishna Prasad are jointly producing the film.
