Is this the Reason behind Kodela’s Death?

Former Andhra Pradesh assembly speaker and senior TDP leader Kodela Sivaprasad Rao have committed suicide at his home in Banjara Hills Hyderabad on Monday. Post mortem report reveals that Kodela committed suicide between 9 am and 10 am and the cause is ‘stress’ because of the political issues and family members. But now, the case has taken a turn after TDP President Chandrababu Naidu accused YSRCP saying that the party is the reason for Kodela’s death.

Kodela’s nephew, Kantheti Sai gave a police complaint in which he mentioned that Kodela might have been murdered at the behest of a family member. A case was registered under section 174 (suspicious death). An investigation is under process. Police said that they did not find any suicide note, but have collected some material which might be useful in taking the case forward. Both Chandrababu and Kodela’s daughter Vijaya Lakshmi said that the current government is the cause of his death as YSRCP tortured him with false charges.

Kodela was recently booked for shifting the furniture of Assembly to his home in Guntur. However, he denied the allegations. “I asked Kodela not to get depressed with false charges when he expressed his pain to me. The party was with him in his hard times. But he failed to withstand for an insult and humiliation,” said Chandrababu.
