Is this the cause behind Mohan Babu's silence on the Rajinikanth issue?

Rajinikanth is the centre of attention in Andhra Pradesh right now, both among the ruling YSRCP and the opposition TDP. The sides have engaged in a verbal brawl. During the centenary celebrations of TDP founder and former chief minister N.T.Rama Rao, Rajinikanth praised former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and stated that development is only possible with his leadership.
This did not sit well with the ruling party, and their leaders began verbally abusing him. Some of them went too far and attacked Rajinikanth personally. No celebrity or movie star came to his aid or, at the very least, denied the humiliation of their colleague. What everyone finds unexpected is one person's silence.
He is none other than Mohan Babu, who has stated on numerous occasions that he is a close friend of Rajini. Many individuals are frustrated by his failure to respond. So, what could explain Mohan Babu's silence on Rajinikanth's case? People say it's because he doesn't want to get in trouble with the AP government, which is already causing problems for his educational institutions.
