Israel PM In Self-Quarantine

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will now self-isolate after a parliamentary aide tested positive for coronavirus.
However, on testing along with his whole family, Benjamin and all family members have been tested negative but have been asked to self-quarantine themselves for at least 14 days.
“The preliminary assessment is that there is no need for the prime minister to be quarantined, as he did not come into close contact with the individual and did not personally meet with that person,” the statement said.
According to the reports released by Israel media, the staff member who has been tested COVID-19 positive was present at a parliament session last week which was also attended by Netanyahu as well as opposition lawmakers.
However, the test which came out to be negative for the PM was taken on 15 March and he is yet to take the test after this revelation.
So far, 4,347 Israelis have tested positive for the coronavirus, with the vast majority of cases mild and 134 recoveries. Sixteen patients have died and 95 are in serious condition.
