Jagan Abolishes The Legislative Council

As a part of major development, the AP government has abolished the Legislative Council. This decision by Jagan has left opposition party leader Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh in a deep shock as they lost his MLC position and from now on he will be referred to as a former Minister. Speaking in the house, AP CM Jagan said that he was very proud to announce that they are abolishing the Legislative Council.

He said, "Earlier the Council was abolished for a single person and now we are abolishing the Council for the betterment of crores of people in AP and now the opposition party is fighting with us, we are abolishing the Council even after knowing that we can get the majority in the house within one year."

He also said the step was taken to protect the democracy as the Council was being misused by the opposition party to create difficulties for the Bills passed by the Assembly, directly elected by the people and was proving to be a burden on the state exchequer, with Rs 60 crores per year.

With this, Jagan has given a huge shock to both father and son. Now Chandrababu cannot create any problem for the bills approved by the State government and Nara Lokesh is left with no job. This shows that Jagan isn't afraid to take daring steps for the betterment of the people of his state. At least from now on Chandrababu Naidu should stop thinking about Jagan and start working to build his cadre and recruit new party leaders.
