Jagan Doesn’t Want Developed Kadapa: Naidu
The long-proposed steel plant in Kadapa district is set to become a reality as Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu laid the foundation stone on Thursday. The state government is investing Rs 18,000 crore in the first phase and Rs 15,000 in the second phase to generate 10,000 employment.
Chandrababu Naidu attacked the opposition leader Jaganmohan Reddy in his home district. Naidu alleged Jagan of trying to stop the development of Kadapa district and growth and progress of the people in Kadapa district.
Naidu also attacked Jagan for not fighting against the centre for issues like the establishment of a steel plant, special category status to Andhra Pradesh. Naidu accused Jagan of conspiring with Modi and KCR.
Naidu also recalled how TDP leaders CM Ramesh and BTech Ravi from Kadapa had sit on a hunger strike for the steel plant. When there was no response from the Centre, the state government has itself decided to build the steel plant and challenge the Centre by proving the stamina of the AP government.
Chandrababu Naidu also criticized Jagan for his corruption in Kadapa. Naidu said 12,000 acres of land allotted by the state government was mortgaged and Rs 30,000 crore worth iron ore has been looted. The leaders of TDP in Kadapa district were encouraged with Naidu’s visit to Kadapa, which can be advantageous with elections around the corner.
