Jagan To Lay Foundation For Nadu Nedu In Health Sector

Chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, on Tuesday, will lay the foundation stone for a
Nadu-Nedu means ‘Now and then’ and under this program, the government will construct, repair and renovate the hospitals at allotted money of ₹11,737 crores in a span of three years. Healthcare facilities will be improved and the government aims to provide the services to the poorest of society.
The government will ensure that all the medicines and drugs are available for the poor at the minimum cost possible. The government is also planning to set up 4906 sub-centers at a cost of Rs 23 lakhs.
Apart from this, a list of health beneficiaries will be made available in village secretaries. Jagan also directed the officials to issue the certificates to those suffering from severe diseases and asked to set up special vehicles for the patients. Furthermore, ANM staff quarters (888 sft) will be provided with a single bedroom, kitchen and toilet, a clinic with a lab and examination room with toilet and fully furnished medical equipment and furniture.
