Jagan, To Reintroduce 3 Capitals Bill?

The govt of YS Jagan is all set to reintroduce the controversial legislation on the formation of 3 capitals for a decentralized administration if the YSR Congress party president and the CM of AP, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has his way. The Jagan govt may conduct the monsoon session of the state assembly and council from September 19, which is expected to be held for a week.
It is likely that the schedule and agenda will be set at the state cabinet meeting on the 7th. The assembly session was originally scheduled for last month but was postponed due to delays in finalizing the 3 capitals bill and other issues.
To form three capitals, Jagan waited until former chief justice of India NV Ramana's term ended. Supreme Court would have challenged the three capitals bill if it passed. Jagan wants to pass the bill in the state assembly again by removing any loopholes in the previous act, which was withdrawn in November last year.
The assembly session is likely to end before Sept 24 or 25 because of the start of Dasara Navaratri festivities. Jagan administration will make the 1st move to shift the executive capital to Visakhapatnam by Dasara if the bills are passed.
