Jagan's Developing Plan Of Education System From Class 1 To Plus 2!

While AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's decision to turn all schools into English medium schools in AP state is welcomed by most of the sections including students and parents, some opposition parties at the state and central level are opposing the decision.
According to the educationists, following radical decisions are all set to be taken by YSRCP. Which guarantee the change in the system on a positive note.
Telugu will be made as to the mandatory subject in all government schools except a few schools where Urdu would be made one of the main subjects. All government schools from class 1 to 6 will be converted to English medium in the 2020-21 academic year.
Schools with more than 500 students' strength will be extended up to plus 2 (Intermediate). As per the statistical study of State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT), a total of 600+ schools will be upgraded to plus 2-level.
As a result, lakhs of students, especially girl students won't join private colleges. The dropout number at the Intermediate level will decrease predominantly and the domination of private colleges will be checkmated.
Students can also pleasantly prepare for national and statewide competitive examinations like IIT, NEET, EAMCET etc. from their doorsteps. Many teachers will be promoted as PGTs and Schools Assistants while thousands more Secondary Grade Teacher posts will be generated at the primary level.
