US Releases Video of Precision Strikes on Iranian Military Targets
The United States Central Command has released video footage showing precision strikes carried out by American forces on Iranian military targets as the conflict in the Middle East intensifies.
According to CENTCOM, the operations were aimed at weakening Iran’s military capabilities. The footage shows strikes on several locations believed to house missile storage facilities and other defence infrastructure.
US President Donald Trump said American forces carried out what he described as one of the most powerful bombing operations in the region’s recent history. In a message posted on Truth Social, he claimed that the operation had destroyed multiple strategic targets on Kharg Island.
Kharg Island is Iran’s largest oil export terminal and plays a critical role in the country’s energy exports. It handles the majority of Iran’s crude oil shipments through the Persian Gulf.
According to CENTCOM, more than 90 Iranian military targets on the island were struck during the operation. The military said the attacks destroyed naval mine storage facilities, missile bunkers and several other defence sites while attempting to avoid damage to oil export infrastructure.
Officials stated that the focus of the operation was strictly military installations, although the strategic importance of the island has made the attacks particularly significant in the ongoing conflict.
In an interview with NBC News, Trump suggested that additional strikes on Kharg Island were possible in the coming days. He claimed earlier operations had severely damaged Iran’s military capabilities in the area.
The latest attacks represent a significant escalation in the confrontation between the United States and Iran, raising concerns among global observers about the potential for a wider regional conflict in the Middle East.
