Jagan’s Sensational Decision Amid Covid-19

Spitting on the public places was not a punishable offense before the Coronavirus crisis, but post-crisis, it has been made so.
Now if any person is seen violating these rules, they will be arrested under 1860 IPC and CRPC rules. This is a very crucial step taken by Jagan’s government to prevent the spread of virus in AP. Neighbouring state Telangana and Nation’s capital Delhi has already implemented this.
There has been an steep rise in the number of Coronavirus cases in AP in the past few days. As many as 15 new cases were reported on Sunday evening taking the tally to 420.
The coronavirus toll increased to seven with the death of a 52-year old man while the total positive cases to 420 in Andhra Pradesh.
Meanwhile, to curb the further spread of virus, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has passed orders to distribute the face maks freely to the people of AP. About 16 crore masks are to be distributed in the state.
Also, the third phase of the survey has been completed, and 32,349 people had been referred to the doctors till Saturday night.
