JanaSena First List of Candidates Out
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Monday announced candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
DMR Shekhar, a retired official of ONGC will contest from Amalapuram constituency and Akula Satyanarayana, a former BJP MLA, will contest from Rajahmundry constituency.
Pawan said he is happy that former ONGC executive director Shekhar has joined his party as they share the same ideologies.
He also expressed happiness that Satyanarayana who won as an MLA on BJP ticket in 2014 elections, has joined his party.
Pawan declared the party candidates just a day after Election Commission’s announced election dates, while the Opposition YSRCP and the Congress are yet to decide their candidates. TDP is said to have completed the list.
Sources revealed that Jana Sena candidates are selected after checking the pros and cons thoroughly.
