Jayalalithaa’s biopic Queen’s first look released

Many South Indian directors are working on the Biopic of former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Miss Jayalalithaa who passed away in 2016. She is fondly referred to “Amma” in the state of Tamil Nadu. She has a huge fan base in South India owing to her actress status before plunging into politics. Gautham Menon is one of the directors making a Biopic series based on the leader and it’s titled as “Queen”. Ramya Krishnan plays the lead role of this series and shooting got wrapped up recently.
The first look poster of the web series Queen made on Tamil Nadu’s former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has been released. The first look features a capture of Ramya Krishnan as Jayalalitha, in a white saree with a black and red border. In the web series Queen, senior Jayalalithaa is being played by actress Ramaiya Krishnan, Anika Surendran is playing the character of Jayalalithaa’s childhood. The Biopic of Jayalalithaa titled “Queen” will be released on MX Player and the release date will be announced shortly.
It is said that Prasath Murugesan has handled the childhood portions of the series, while Gautham has directed Ramya Krishnan's portion. Gautham has two upcoming movies Enai Noki Paayum Thota and Dhruva Natchathiram. The movie Noki Paayum Thota relates, an Ordinary Student from a College loves an actress and both fall in love and living a happy life. But things started to change bitter in their life. Dhruva Natchathiram is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language spy thriller film written and directed by Gautham Menon, which stars Vikram in the lead role. The film has music composed by Harris Jayaraj and cinematography done by Jomon T. John, Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran and Manoj Paramahamsa.
