KCR Announces Job Offer For The Family Of The Youth Killed In The Railway Police Shooting.

CM KCR expressed shock over the death of Rakesh, a resident of Warangal district, during the protests against the Centre’s Agnipath scheme at the Secunderabad railway station on Friday. He extended condolences to the family of Rakesh who got killed during the firing by the Railway police.
The CM announced Rs 25 lakh ex-gratia as well as a State government job to eligible person from his family.
According to KCR, Rakesh became a victim of faulty policies of the union government. It was his assurance to the people of the State that the Telangana government would protect its youth as a mother would protect her child.
Damera Rakesh, who was killed in the police firing at the Secunderabad railway station during a protest against Agnipath scheme.
Rakesh, who belongs to the BC category, was training for Army jobs in Hanamkonda for the last few years. Parents of the victim are farmers, and his elder brother is a physically challenged person.
Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao has expressed shock and grief over Rakesh's death and demanded ex-gratia from his kin. He also expressed condolences over the incident. Sources also said that Lakkam Vinay, a resident of Maddivancha village of Garla mandal of Mahabubabad district, sustained bullet injury in his chest. He was admitted to the Gandhi Hospital.
