KCR Is Not Agree With Modi On Lockdown Strategy

The Telangana Cabinet that would meet take place on April 19, is expected to discuss COVID-19 containment measures and whether to continue lockdown in the state strictly, as it is being implemented now, till May 3 or to give some concessions in line with the Centre's thinking.
The meeting, to be presided by CM KCR, would be held in the afternoon on April 19 at Pragati Bhavan.
The Cabinet would discuss COVID-19 containment measures in the state and the implementation of lockdown, it said. "The Cabinet is also expected to discuss whether the lockdown being implemented strictly in the state should be continued till May 3 or in tune with the thinking of the Centre, whether to give some relaxation after April 20 or not" it said.
As per the close sources, KCR is not interested in extending the Relaxations in the State. “There will be no relaxation in Lockdown rules after April 20th.
Even the Green Zone districts will have to continue the ongoing Lockdown until May 3rd,” the Chief Minister opines.
“It is not easy to extend relaxations to some people and control the rest of the people. That is the reason why the KCR will want to extend the Lockdown in all the 33 districts of the state,” a source in Pragathi Bhavan told the reputed news channel.
KCR himself will announce this after the cabinet meeting on the 19th. According to the Medical Bulletin released last night, there are 700 Coronavirus cases in the state. On Thursday alone, there are 50 new cases. The only positive is that the state has a total of 254 discharged cases.
