KCR: It Is Nothing Great For India To Have A $5 Trillion Economy By 2025

Asked about the Modi Government's plan to transform India into a $5 trillion economy by 2025, Telangana CM KCR said it was "nothing great."
He also said that the PM or Finance Minister was not needed to achieve this goal.
"It is the magic of money compounding. Any financer can tell that. There is nothing great about making the Indian economy worth USD 5 trillion by 2025. What is the extra effort you are putting in? Nothing," he said. The CM addressed a media conference at the Pragati Bhavan today.
KCR accused the Modi administration of engaging in "false propaganda," asking what "extra" steps the Centre took. "If you've innovative skills, please do something like China and Singapore. That is something great, not USD 5 trillion economies," he added.
The TRS chief has repeatedly hit out at the BJP and PM Modi in recent days. Earlier this week, KCR had said that the NDA government would be "chased away" from power if it failed to extend support for the state's development, noting that he was ready to play a role in national politics to break "Delhi Fort."
