KCR Running for two seats: Plan or Mistake?
The long-awaited list of BRS candidates for the upcoming MLA polls in Telangana is now available, and it includes a big change.
The official list shows that KCR will run for office in not just one, but two different areas. One is clearly Gajwel, while the other is clearly Kamareddy.
Even though BRS got the first list of candidates out much sooner than the other parties, it might be a setback that KCR has chosen to run in two seats. It means that KCR doesn't have enough confidence, which is why he decided to run for office in two places. This story will be told a lot by the groups in the opposition.
But BRS says that Chandrashekar Rao's move to Kamareddy would help the party in all of northern Telangana, including the old districts of Adilabad, Medak, Karimnagar, and Nizamabad.
In either case, KCR's interesting choice has become a big topic of conversation in Telangana politics. With less than three months until the election, BRS has made its first big move, and now it's up to the other parties to say what their plans are.
