KCR: Telangana will soon have 24-hour drinking water

In its third term, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao promised all homes 24/7 drinking water from the BRS.

Preparations are begun. He said Telangana is the only state to supply drinking water to every family for Re 1. He noted that the Congress could not provide Telangana residents with drinking water for 50 years.

At PrajaAshirvada Sabha public meetings in Karimnagar, Choppadandi, Huzurabad, and Parkal seats on Friday, Chandrashekhar Rao asked people to observe the BRS government's shift. Do people now queue up at public taps or go far for water? Not development? he asked.

He asked people to compare the 50-year Congress control and the 10-year BRS system in power, drinking and irrigation water, education, health, and other public infrastructure. People will realize the BRS government's qualitative change in their lives, he said. He said if Congress wins, the BRS government's 10-year work will be wasted.

The Chief Minister stated Telangana leads paddy output after the union government announced its third advanced estimates. Under BRS, agriculture underwent major transformation due to RythuBandhu, RythuBima, and free and quality water and power for agriculture. He stated the BRS improved the state economy and empowered farmers to invest in crops without moneylenders.
