KCR included two women ministers in his cabinet

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) expanded his Council of Ministers on Sunday. He included son KT Rama Rao and nephew Harish Rao into his cabinet four new faces including two women were accommodated. The four new ministers are Sabitha Indra Reddy, Gangula Kamalakar, Satyavati Rathod and Puvvada Ajay Kumar.
The new ministers were administered the oath of office and secrecy by Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan at the Raj Bhavan, in the presence of the Chief Minister.
Sabitha Indra Reddy ventured into politics in the year 2000 after her husband's demise. She is an undefeated politician, winning elections all the four times she contested elections(2000,2004,2009,2018). She stayed away from elections in 2014 due to the one seat for one family ' rule by the Congress party. Her son, Karthik Reddy, contested the elections that year for Lok Sabha losing that election. Sabitha Indrareddy who was Home Minister in YS Rajasekhar Reddy cabinet in United Andhra Pradesh. Sabita joined TRS recently after quitting Congress.
Satyavati Rathod, another woman who took oath as minister was previously elected from Dornakal (ST) of Andhra Pradesh state as a member of Telugu Desam Party. Satyavati Rathod was born to Sri. Lingya Naik and is married to Sri. Govind Rathod. she is MLC hailing from the Tribal community has also been made Minister for ST Welfare and Women and Child Welfare. Satyavati started off her political career as Sarpanch of Gundratimadugu of Khammam 1996.
