KCR, the chief minister, urges unconventional thinking to make India a superpower.
K. Chandrashekhar Rao, the chief minister, remarked If elected, the BRS and like-minded parties would build three to four significant reservoirs in key areas around the nation to access the water resources.
BRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao stressed the importance of thinking creatively in order to transform India into an economic superpower, adding that this could happen only through altering peoples' perspectives and the nation's political system.
The Chief Minister noted at a press conference that approximately 50,000 TMC ft of water was going into the sea untapped every year, even as farmers were losing crops due to a lack of irrigation facilities, and proposed revolutionary changes in water and energy policies to ensure optimal use of available resources for needy sections. Similar to this, the peak load handled thus far was less than 2.16 lakh MW, compared to the installed capacity of 4.1 lakh MW power generation. In addition, the Centre designated 40,000 MW worth of power plants as stressed assets because of litigation in the National Company Law Tribunal, even though these facilities might be put to use with the Center's assistance.
Insisting that the BRS opposed all forms of divisive politics, including those based on caste, religion, and area, he mocked governments for renaming sites, calling the practise "dramaabaazi."
