KCR’s Plan to Empty TDP by Winning Over its 2 MLAs
In the recent Telangana Assembly elections, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has won only two MLA seats out of 119. In this context, Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao is trying to win over these two MLAs to eliminate TDP from the House.
It is known that there is a merger of Congress Legislature Party (CLP) with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Legislature Party in the Telangana Legislative Council, thereby reducing the strength of CLP in the Council.
There is a buzz in political circles that Sathupalli TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah is considering to join the TRS. TRS is relentless in its efforts to convince Veeraiah. In the aftermath, Veeraiah held a meeting with Aswaraopeta’s TDP MLA Mecha Nageswara Rao to convince him to join TRS.
KCR’s game plan is to win over the MLAs and MLCs from other parties and remove the rival parties from the Council.
