KTR Announces Ex Gratia In Fire Tragedy

An electric bike showroom in Secunderabad caught fire last night, killing eight people.
Meanwhile, KT Rama Rao, IT Minister, expressed grief over the accident and said the Telangana government had decided to give an ex gratia of Rs 3 lakh each to the families of the persons killed in the incident.
The police report that 20+ people lived in these rooms, with a few guests suffering burn injuries and others suffocating from thick smoke. Others jumped from the building to save themselves and suffered injuries.
Mohd. Mahmood Ali and Cinematography Minister T.Srinivas Yadav visited the site last night.
On the other hand, PM Narendra Modi expressed his condolences on the tragic death of 8 people who died when a fire broke out at a hotel in Telangana’s Secunderabad late on Monday night.
“Saddened by the loss of lives due to a fire in Secunderabad, Telangana. Condolences to the bereaved families. May the injured recover soon,” Modi tweeted.While expressing his condolences through a Twitter post, Modi said Rs 2 lakh from PMNRF (Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund) would be paid to the next of kin of each deceased and Rs 50,000 each to the injured.
