KTR Announces Rs 1,544 Crore For Erstwhile Nalgonda

In the Munugode by-poll campaign, KTR promised to adopt the constituency and ensure the development of the erstwhile Nalgonda district. Keeping his promise Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister announced Rs 1,544 crore for development works in the community in the next 6 to 7 months.
While interacting with media after a review meeting at Munugode on the development activities in erstwhile Nalgonda, the Minister said with the TRS winning the Munugode by-election, a political party had won all the 12 Assembly constituencies in erstwhile Nalgonda for the 1st time since 1958. The TRS government started developing the district as promised during the election campaign.
The Minister said the works worth Rs 1,544 crore- Rs 402 crore by Roads and Buildings, Rs 334 crore by the Municipal Administration department, Rs 700 crore by Panchayat Raj, and Rs 64 crore by the Tribal Welfare department, would be spent on various development works in the erstwhile district over the next 6 to 7 months. Over the last 8 years, the KTR administration had spent Rs 454 crore to develop all urban local bodies in erstwhile Nalgonda.
