KTR: BRS government will pursue Bhadradri development on par with Yadadri
Minister KT Rama Rao, working president of BRS, reaffirmed the Telangana government's steadfast commitment to the welfare and overall development of the Adivasis and the State's underprivileged regions. at addition to the Yadadri temple, he declared that the State government was committed to building the Sri SitaramaSwamy temple at Bhadrachalam.
"We are optimistic in our ability to win a third term in office. The State government would then start working on rebuilding the Bhadradri temple. Nobody should have any questions in this regard, he said.
He was speaking at an event following the ceremonial induction of former MLA Dr. TellamVenkat Rao and other Congress leaders into the BRS on Thursday at the party's Telangana Bhavan headquarters. Having just accompanied the former MP PonguletiSudhakar Reddy into the Congress, Venkat Rao—a significant aide—decided to rejoin the BRS. He reaffirmed the party's commitment to helping them advance politically.
Rama Rao welcomed Venkat Rai and other BRS leaders back, saying that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was implementing the "Jal, Jungle, Zameen" campaign slogan promoted by revolutionary tribal leader KumramBheem. He claimed that the BRS government's dedication to uplifting underserved communities was evidenced by the increase in the tribal reservation quota to 10%, improved healthcare and education, piped drinking water supply in remote hamlets, distribution of titles for 4.5 lakh acres of Podu lands, and establishment of new tribal gram panchayats to realize the dream of tribals for self-rule.
