KTR Comes Forward To Help A Tribal Woman Allegedly Tortured.
Seema Patra, Jharkhand BJP's suspended leader, was arrested for brutally torturing a housemaid.
There was uproar after a video of the victim Sunitha went viral, in which she described how she was tortured by Seema. Meanwhile, Telangana Minister KTR responded to this incident. Famous journalist Barkha Dutt posted a video in which the victim said that she wants to study if she recovers.
"Her teeth were broken. 8 years of hell. Seema Patra tortured her cruelly. The victim says that she wants to study after recovery,'' said Dutt in that post.
KTR responded to this on Twitter and said that he is personally ready to provide the necessary help for her studies. Also, the Minister asked Dutt to send him details of her family members. Dutt lauded KTR.
Seema Patra brought Sunita, a tribal woman, to work on her luxury house in Ranchi's Ashok Nagar less than 8 years ago and brutally tortured her. While this incident created a sensation, the police finally chased and arrested Seema, who was running away.
On the other hand, BJP announced that she was being suspended from the party. The Saffron party expressed anger over this incident, and the National Commission for Women ordered the DGP of state to take strict action against Seema.
