KTR Hopes PM Modi's Account Is Not Hacked

PM Narendra Modi posted a message on his social media handles on Monday evening that this Sunday, he was planning to give up his presence on platforms like Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
PM Modi has a huge social media presence with the highest number of followers on Twitter—over 53 million. This is also the case with Instagram with over 35 million followers, and on Facebook, he has more than a staggering 44 million followers.
PM Modi's tweet sparked a massive stir on social media with his followers urging him not to do so, while his critics took a swipe at him.
PM Modi's ambiguous tweet indicated that he would keep his followers posted on a further course of action. Soon after PM Modi put out his tweet about the possibility of going offline, there was an internet storm.
Twitter erupted with trend #NoModiNoTwitter and #NoSir. Hundreds of Twitter users vowed to give up the social media platform if PM Modi choose to do so.
There was widespread speculation on whether PM Modi would go offline for a day or from Sunday onwards. Some even predicted that major social media giants such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube would take a hit in terms of business, but that prospect remains somewhat bleak.
Meanwhile, Telangana IT Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader K. T. Rama Rao, who is also the son of CM KCR, reacted to Prime Minister Modi's tweet.
Taking to Twitter, the TRS leader stated that he hoped that no one had hacked into the Prime Minister's account and also pointed out that PM Modi may be hinting at digital detox.
Hope no one hacked the Hon’ble PM’s account 😀🤞Or is it plain digital detox that he’s hinting at? https://t.co/PGT0zqPHP— KTR (@KTRTRS) March 2, 2020.
