KTR Leaves For UK Today

Telangana's IT Minister KTR today left for a 3-day visit to the UK (United Kingdom).
The Minister is scheduled to attend a series of meetings organized by the UK India Business Council.
After this visit, KTR will reach Davos to attend the WEF (World Economic Forum) meeting scheduled from May 22 to 26.
Though, the annual meeting of WEF was scheduled from January 17-21 but was postponed due to pandemics.
“Off to the United Kingdom for three days to attend meetings organized by @UKIBC and from there on to Davos to attend the world economic forum from 22-26th May Lots of meetings lined up and hectic activity ahead,” tweeted KTR.
Assisted by senior officials, KTR will meet the top leadership of various companies at WEF in Davos and in the UK to attract investment to Telangana.
While inviting the minister to the event, WEF President Borge Brende appreciated Minister's work.
KTR responded that he views this invitation as a recognition of Telangana's initiatives in the fields of information technology, industry, and innovation.
KTR said that this is another opportunity for the state to showcase its friendly industrial policies and a vast opportunity for foreign firms to invest in the state.
